2nd ever realistic attempt...
all I can really say is that I know it’s a hell of a lot better than my Reita drawing. [sorry Reita.] I think it’s because of the month excessively spent staring at other art on dA, reading comments/tips, and…more patience spent on it. ...it feels like there’s some general error I can’t place in his lower facial area  and it probably could’ve looked...cleaner…but I never knew about the thing where you could put paper/etc. under your hand to prevent smudging until I was about halfway through…so I guess that’s my excuse. ...kinda hard, but it was fun. in the sense that if there was such a thing to call “artist’s high”, then I’m pretty sure I had it. 14 ½ hours. |
